On New Years of 2008 some absinthe came my way so I figured I would try it out. I took 3 shots of it without a chaser. It was actually very good tasting alcohol. After about 10 minutes I felt something that was defintely not your normal alcohol buzz. Mild Euphoria set in and everything seemed to be very funny. No hallicunations though. After about 20 minutes these feelings started to subside. It was very strange indeed, after I had drank a little all I wanted was more and more. I believe this absinthe was just the usual 30mg thujone content as described on the label.
By the time you drink enough to feel the effects of it you’ll end up being dog drunk because of the high alcohol content (most absinthe is above 45% alcohol some even reaches as high as 80%). However, they don’t regulate the amount of thujone that goes into absinthe in Canada, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland. In these countries there are higher concentrations of absinthe produced.
At thujone concentrations of 100 mg and higher it’s fairly easy to hallucinate from drinking a couple of shots of absinthe.
Thujone is a natural chemical compound derived from plants and flowers (namely wormwood). Thujone has a similar chemical structure to Tetrahydrocannibinol (active ingredient found in marijuana or THC) and Menthol (peppermint odor found in many over-the-counter medicated creams). Therefore, it’s not surprising that you would be able to feel mild hallucinations from higher thujone concentrations.
I thought I should add that the traditional way to drink absinthe is to pour 1 ounce of absinthe into a glass and place a sugar cube on an absinthe spoon, which is a spoon made specifically or this purpose, and drip about 3 ounces of pure ice water over the cube so it melts it into the absinthe, once you have a 1/4 absinthe to sugar water mixture you are ready to drink it. This is the official and traditional method which has been used through out the history.
The flaming sugar cube is a method which tons of attention at the bars and is great for marketing this drink. However, it is frowned upon by most true absinthe connoisseurs.

It all began a year ago when Megan met a boy on the Internet.
Megan was insecure and slightly overweight and was thrilled to have a page on the social networking site MySpace, and to be contacted by “Josh Evans.” Tina Meier, Megan’s mom, described Josh as having blue eyes and brown, wavy hair and looking like a model. She asked Megan whether she knew him. In fact, Megan did not know Josh, who told her he was 16 and had just moved to town.
Ron Meier, Megan’s father, was slightly concerned. “Everybody that was on there we had to know, and this individual we did not know,” he said.
“The content that was on there was approved by us so there could not be any inappropriate content on there at all,” said Tina Meier.
The Meiers, fearful of the dangers to teens online, worried more about Megan. She had a history of depression and was prescribed medication. “Megan just always felt like she wasn’t wanted or accepted enough. And that was the hardest thing to try to get her to just be herself,” said Tina.
Recently, things seemed to be turning around for Megan. She had lost weight, switched to a smaller, private school and had made new friends. There had been a rift with another 13-year-old down the street, a close friend named Sarah, who felt Megan had deserted her, but Megan was happier than ever and excited about her new online relationship, her parents said.
Since the dawn of time, girls have been catty to each other.
Two girls will collaborate in the ostracizing of a third girl, calling her names behind her back, spreading rumors and playing little jokes on her with the goal of inflicting as much mental and emotional anguish as they possibly can.
While women never completely grow out of this, most do tend to lose interest in these kinds of activities as they age and mature.
Most women, except, of course, for Lori Drew, who is currently in the running for the title of “Most Hated Woman in America.”
For a while, Lori Drew (above left), who ran a successful local advertising mailer business called The Drew Ad Vantage, was a respected, popular member of her community. She has since gone downhill drastically.
She’s married to Curt Drew, who was once employed as a Realtor at their local Coldwell Banker.
But now, Lori Drew’s business is fighting a sudden public relations downturn, she lost her business, her house, and her husband was fired from his position at Coldwell Banker and now works at the local Burlington Coat Factory.
During seventh grade, Lori Drew’s daughter, Sarah, was friends with Megan Taylor Meier, a 13-year-old girl who, like many 13-year-olds, struggled with her weight and had self-esteem issues. These issues Megan had were compounded by a diagnosed case of Attention-Deficit Disorder and a long battle with depression - a condition which she she had been seeing a therapist for since she was in the third grade, after talking about suicide.
The Meiers and Drews were friendly enough that Megan had been on a vacation trip with the Drews, and the Meiers had been storing a foosball table for the Drews until Christmas.
Sarah Drew and Megan Meier started the eighth grade together, and their on-again off-again friendship became a little more chaotic, as 13-year-old friendships tend to be when two girls are involved.
For some reason or another, Sarah Drew and Megan Meier squabbled, probably over something stupid, and stopped being friends.
If you’ve ever known 13-year-old girls, or if you ever were a 13-year-old girl, you know what that’s like.
Well, Sarah Drew told her mother, Lori Drew, about how Megan was mean to her and how pissed off she was about it.
That’s when things started to get really stupid, because like many other helicopter parents, Lori Drew was unable to keep her nose out of what should have been her daughter’s business.
Lori Drew created a profile on MySpace with the name ‘Josh Evans’ and put a picture of a ‘really hot guy’ on the profile picture. 16-year-old ‘Josh Evans’ had just moved into the area from Florida, was being home-schooled, played the drums and the guitar, and didn’t have a phone number.
And, coincidently enough, he wanted to be friends with Megan Meier.
Megan was thrilled that ‘Josh Evans’ was interested in her enough to add her to his friends list. She showed her mother, Tina, the friend request and begged to be allowed to add the teen to her friends list. Tina, after looking the boy’s profile over, let her daughter add him as a friend.
For six weeks, Megan chatted with ‘Josh’ about things 13-year-old girls usually talk about: school, parents and sex.
Lori Drew, using the experience that comes with advanced age, did her best to get Megan Meier to confess secret desires, crushes and other vulnerabilities to her online ‘boyfriend.’ Shortly after starting this relationship, Lori Drew started letting other people into the “joke.” An employee of Drew Ad Vantage named Ashley was recruited to help keep the joke going. Another girl in the neighborhood also had the login details to the Josh Evans account.
Then one day, on the 15th of October, 2006, six weeks after stringing along Megan Meier, ‘Josh Evans’ started getting mean.
I don’t know if I want to be friends with you anymore because I’ve heard that you are not very nice to your friends.
Megan Meier responded with a frantic e-mail that basically said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
The next day, after handing out invitations to her birthday party to friends at school, Megan came home and asked her mother to log into Megan’s MySpace account for her so she could see if Josh Evans had replied to her e-mail. She was hoping that the boy would show up to her party, which was in three weeks. After all, it would be nice if she and her parents could finally meet the boy who had captured her heart - as long as she could find out who had been talking to him and telling him that she wasn’t nice to her friends.
But Josh Evans wasn’t being nice.
Josh’s account had, in fact, forwarded her correspondence with him to a number of other online friends. All those secrets, all those confessions - now everyone Megan Meier knew at school could read them.
And read them they did, with many of them responding as younger teenagers are wont to do - with mockery and name-calling.
Megan’s mother had a dental appointment and was pressed for time, so Megan’s mom told Megan to sign off as she walked out the door.
Megan didn’t sign off. She responded to the online cruelty with name calling and threats of her own. When her mother called her, after she had arrived at the dentist, Megan was still online, crying and telling her mother that everyone was being so mean to her. Megan’s mother again told her daughter to log off.
Shortly after that, a sobbing Megan called her mother and told her that people online were posting bulletins about her, saying things like, “Megan is fat” and “Megan is a slut.” Again, Megan was told to log off by her now-furious mother.
After her dentist appointment was over, Megan’s mom returned home, went to the room where the computer was located and reviewed the messages her daughter had seen and was sending. Seeing how out-of-control things were on her daughter’s MySpace account, Megan’s mom expressed her disappointment in her daughter’s behavior, logged out the account and ended Megan’s MySpace activities for the night.
Megan’s mom didn’t catch the last message in Megan’s inbox, however. That message was from Josh Evans and said:
Everybody in O’Fallon knows how you are. You are a bad person and everybody hates you. Have a shitty rest of your life. The world would be a better place without you.
Megan ran to her room and stayed there, quietly, while her parents cooked dinner downstairs.
Her parents, sensing something was wrong, ran upstairs and found their daughter, who had hung herself with a belt in her closet.
Emergency services was called and an ambulance arrived empty and left with the 13-year-old in the back.
As the ambulance was in front of the Meier’s house, Lori Drew called the 13-year-old who had been brought in on the joke and told her to keep her mouth shut about what they had done.
The Josh Evans account was deleted.
Megan Meier was dead the next day.
Lori Drew went with her family went to Megan’s funeral and mouthed the right words of remorse, all while knowing that what she had done had driven Megan, a girl the Drews knew was on anti-depression medication, to kill herself.
A few weeks after Megan’s suicide, the thirteen-year-old that Lori had recruited into the “joke” felt a wee bit guilty about her part in it and talked to the Meiers about it, explaining what had been done to their daughter by someone they thought was a family friend.
The Meiers, responding with incredible restraint, only went so far as to smash to pieces and drop off on the Drew driveway the foosball table that they had been asked to store in their house until Christmas.
“Merry Christmas” was spray-painted onto the box.
The Drew’s response? Call the police and file a report.
Here’s a partial transcript of that report:
In reference to their daughter’s suicide, Drew explained she wanted to “just tell them” what she did to contribute to the Meier’s daughter’s suicide. She instigated and monitored a “myspace” account which was created for the sole purpose of communicating with Meier’s daughter. Drew said she, with the help of temporary employee named “Ashley”, constructed a profile of “good looking” male on “my space” in order to “find out what Megan (Meier’s daughter) was saying on-line” about her daughter. Drew explained the communication between the fake male profile was aimed at gaining Megan’s confidence and finding out what Megan felt about her daughter and other people. Drew stated she, her daughter, and Ashley all typed, read, and monitored the communication between the fake male profile and Megan. Drew went on to say, the communication became “sexual for a thirteen year old.” Drew stated she continued the fake male profile despite this development.
According to Drew “somehow” other “myspace” users were able to access the fake male profile and Megan found out she had been duped. Drew stated she knew “arguments” had broken out between Megan and others on “myspace”. Drew felt this incident contributed to Megan’s suicide, but she did not feel “as guilty” because at the funeral because she found out “Megan had tried to commit suicide before.”
Drew explained the neighborhood had recently found out her involvement in Megan’s suicide and her neighborhood has become hostile toward her and her family. Despite the recency of the suicide and several neighbors recommending she not confront the Meier family (especially on Thanksgiving), Meier stated she and her husband attempted to contact the Meier family three times, “banging on the door” although Mr Meier had already told them to leave.
Good stuff there. You have to love the fact that Lori Drew told the officers that she didn’t feel guilty because Megan had tried to commit suicide before.
A Senate committee heard testimony Monday night on the bill, sponsored by Sen. Scott Rupp, a Republican, that is modeled after recommendations from a special gubernatorial task force created to study Internet harassment.
The proposed law would punish someone 21 or older who harassed someone 17 years old or younger with up to four years in prison.
It also would require school officials to tell police about harassment and stalking on school grounds. And it updates state laws against harassment to include computers, text messages and other electronic devices, not just telephone or written communications.
Police are desprately looking for a serial rapist and killer who is striking in the Reno, Nevada area around the University of Nevada-Reno campus.
Around a month ago 19-year-old college student, Brianna Denison, went missing on Sunday morning from a couch that she was sleeping on at a friends house. There was a small blood stain on the pillow she was using and her shoes, cell phone, and purse were left behind. Which means that she would have had to leave the house barefoot with nothing more than her sweatpants and sweatshirt.
There were no signs of forced entry and no other signs of a struggle in the home. Cops say that the glass-paned front door of the residence was unlocked and other residents say that the door — just a couple feet away from where Brianna was sleeping — may have been left slightly open. Authorities say that the suspect must have been quick and quiet as to not awake Hunter’s pet black-and-white Chihuahua, Chi-Chi, who was sleeping in the adjacent room with her two friends, KT Hunter and Jessica Deal.
Police immediately suspected foul play and the blood stains on the pillow made it appear that she was struck in the head with an object or suffocated in her sleep to subdue her. They also ran the DNA evidence found on Brianna’s pillow and found that it matched the DNA gathered after a November 13th groping attack on a UNR student and a December 16th kidnapping and rape of another UNR student which took place only a few blocks away from the home where Brianna was last seen.
In the November 13th incident, a 21-year-old UNR student was walking through an apartment parking lot at 401 College Drive, when an unknown male assailant approached her from behind and put her in a chokehold. The suspect dragged the victim between cars, pushed her to the ground and groped her. As she fought and yelled, he told her not to scream. The victim continued to scream and fought her attacker. Even though the assailant warned the victim to stop screaming, the assault stopped after the suspect kicked the victim in the head and arm and ran away.
In the December 16th incident, the assailant told the victim, a foreign student from Taiwan, that, “If you tell the police, I will kill you.” Authorities say the 22-year-old was abducted outside her home when an unknown assailant grabbed her after she parked her car on the 1400 block of Terrace Drive.
According to police, the assailant grabbed the female from behind, forced her to the ground and attempted to choke her with her right arm. He then placed his right hand over her nose and mouth which caused her to pass out. When she began to regain consciousness, the suspect forced her into the front passenger seat. The suspect slowly drove to a campus garage 3 to 4 minutes away where he forced her to perform sexual acts. After the attack, he drove her back to her residence where he dumped her off and threatened “he might be back.”
Police believe that the December attack is linked to an attempted burglary at the same residence on Jan. 19, 2008, the day before Brianna Denison went missing. Authorities say that in the January incident, someone attempted to enter the victim’s home by breaking off a door knob at the rear of the residence.
This suspect seems rather brazen to attempt so many sexual assaults within a confined area of less than a mile radius and over a short period of time of around 90 days. Look at the map above. The November 13th attack and the January 20th abduction of Brianna Denison happened about 80 feet apart! The other 2 attacks happened between 1500 and 2000 feet from these attacks. We are talking no more than a 3-4 block radius between these four attacks!
It seems to be someone from the area if they are able to pull off such calculated attacks within such a close proximity. They must have been staking the area out and planning these attacks which leads me to believe that it is one of the students or campus staff who live and work in the area and would be around these students on a daily basis. However I am surprised that the surviving two victims have not run into this person and identified him so perhaps it is someone who lives close by but not on campus, maybe in the casino district. But these two surviving victims did not get a close look at their attackers face. It totally seems like this person could easily become the next Ted Bundy.
Brianna was not heard from in nearly a month until a body was found in a brush-covered field on Friday and identified as this missing girl. The initial autopsy indicated that she had died of strangulation and her body had been in the field for more than a week about 8 miles from the house where she went missing.
Based on partial descriptions, police describe the suspect as a white male between the ages of 28 and 40 and at least 5 foot 6 inches tall, with a long face and brown hair, and physically strong, but not muscular. Neither of the previous victims saw the attacker’s face. His vehicle is described as an extended cab pick-up truck or SUV with a dome above the windshield and an automatic transmission. The vehicle is tall enough that it requires a step to gain entry. The victim also noticed a floor-mounted console that opened in the front, that the radio had a blue and red LED read out, and that the seats were cloth. She also claimed that there was a baby shoe on the front seat floor board. They believe that this video photo below shows a picture of the suspects SUV.
On Thursday a fourth woman came forward and for the first time reported that she had been attacked and raped at gunpoint in a UNR parking garage within 100 yards of a campus police station. Based on her description of the attacker they were able to generate the composite sketch above. They have not linked this fourth attack with DNA to the other three attacks, however they strongly believe that it was done by the same person.
It finally appears that we know for certain what happened to Natalee Holloway in Aruba, however the vast majority of people are not surprised because it was so obvious. In fact the demeanor and the manner in which Joran van der Sloot made the confession was far more disturbing than the actual chain of events that he described happening.
Natalee Holloway most likely died from drug use, and Joran van der Sloot disposed of her body with a little help from his friends. As well as some help and advice from his father, Paulus, who was a Judge in Aruba.
It appears that Joran’s mother, Anita, and Greta van Susteren were the only two people on Earth taken in by Joran’s lies. The majority of Americans were fairly certain that Joran was guilty from the beginning because it was so obvious. Joran carried himself with the demeanor of a villain and a sociopath who thought that he was smarter than everyone else. He was a convincing liar but the story changed a few times. He also gloated too much about having put one over on the police.
The Joran supporters who stood up for him through out the investigation are upset and disappointed, however they are not suprised, because many of these supporters were not behind Joran because of his innocence. They were behind him because many of them were Dutch, Aruban, or Canadian nationals who despised how the American Media and people were trying to strong arm the tiny nation of Aruba into changing their policies. Such as forcing them to do more to prosecute Joran for this crime. For them it became a matter of principal. They did not like the drastic actions that the Holloway family took to find her daughter or the undaunting support they received. They do not like being strong armed and looked down on by the American people, so they took a stand in support of Joran against the Holloway family for this very reason.
However in the end Joran just had to brag to the wrong person, a person with a hidden camera and microphone, about how he had gotten away with the crime. This proved the suspicions of the majority of people and angered all the Joran supporters because they now have been given a hard slap in the face.
So why suspect drugs? Because, if drugs weren’t involved, why would Joran have had to dispose of the body and cover up? He would have been involved in no crime if Natalee had simply died of natural causes. Therefore he most likely provided Natalee with some sort of drugs, perhaps even GHB (date rape drug) which caused an adverse reaction combined with the alcohol she had drank that night.
Any psychologist who views this tape would tell you that Joran is a textbook sociopath. Just look at his own description of the situation.
He says Natalie had a seizure during some intimate encounter and became unresponsive and he “shook the bitch” to try to arouse her. When she wouldn’t awaken, his first thought was “Why did this happen to me?” He had absolutely no concept that it had happened to Natalee Holloway, not to him! She was the one unconscious or dead. Then, not even being sure she was dead and not just unconscious, he had a friend drop her out in the ocean. And he claimed he slept well that night and had not a single pang of conscience. Clearly there is something not right in his head and he needs some serious psyciatric help.
Even with this confession he may never be charged with a crime. Her body will most likely never be found and he is now saying that his confession is a lie. This is not the first time that he has claimed to have lied. Through out the investigation he could not make up his mind about whether he walked home or was picked up. He could not make up his mind about whether he last saw Natalee on the beach or if he dropped her off at the hotel. If he had nothing to hide, then why is he doing all this lying?
The Aruban Police botched this investigation from the beginning. The Dutch system of interogation is less than ideal because under their laws investigators cannot use mind tricks such as lying to get confessions out of suspects. In the United States, the criminal investigators would have detained Joran and then told him that Natalee’s body has washed ashore which may have caused him to initially confess to this crime.
I really hope that Joran is found guilty of this crime and held responsible for what he did to to Natalee. I know that if he is never charged with a crime that society will punish him and he will lose out on many career, relationship, and other opportunities due to being known as the person who killed Natalee.
Take a look at this video below taken a few months ago. It shows Joran’s true colors as he throws wine in this interviewer’s face. His behavior here shows his true character. An arrogant, conceided brat, who has a temper when he does not get his way. His parents have enabled him to be this way. Check out how his father, Paulus, smiles after he sees the wine being thrown and how his mother, Anita, is totally oblivious to what is going on around her. Now do you wonder why he is an arrogant brat?
This guy has clearly been raised to be a spoiled brat. His parents, Paulus and Anita, gave him everything and he thinks that he owns the world and is smarter than everyone. His behavior speaks for itself. What can be worse than saying things such as, “Now I can abuse the whole situation”, and “I haven’t lost one night of sleep over it”, and “I can’t believe this has happened to ME”?
I could not agree with Beth Holloway’s statement more, “Once people see the video of Joran there are no more questions. There is no one who can walk away from this believing that he is innocent.”
Many people are not big football fans yet they eagerly watch the Super Bowl for one of the best parts of the game: the commercials. Television marketing experts have even stated that the Super Bowl is the only television event where the viewership would actually decrease if the commercials were removed.
This year sponsors will pay between $3.5M -$5M for just a brief 20-30 second commercial during one of the world’s most widely watched sporting events. This event will attact over 100 million viewers and generate around $10 billion in spending with the average viewer spending $59.90 on food, drinks, and other misc expenses while watching the game.
Over the years, various networks have turned away many proposed commercials either judging them as either too offensive, downright embarrassing or masquerading as advocacy ads.
Below are commercials that were either never aired or aired during the superbowl and then pulled off the air because they were either deamed inappropriate or too controversal. These commercials cover the span of the past 10 years.
When I say Nitrous Oxide, I am not talking about those NOS systems that you would see in one of those cars from the Fast & the Furious. I am talking about N2O which is also known as laughing gas.
This form of Nitrous Oxide is used by dentists and oral surgeons for its pain and tension reducing anesthetic effect. It’s called laughing gas because it gives you a euphoric and slightly hallucinogenic effect when it is inhaled and often causes people to laugh hysterically.
This is why Nitrous Oxide is also really popular for recreational use. You might have seen people selling balloons filled with Nitrous Oxide at a concert or music festival. Despite it’s popularity many people don’t seem to know about nitrous oxide. They might have had nitrous administered at the dentist or seen a group of people inhaling balloons and assumed it was just helium, but they really don’t know much about it.
Nitrous Oxide is legal except when it’s sold for recreational purposes. Only dental offices have legal access to full pure nitrous oxide canisters that are intended for medical or dental use. This form is the best for human consumption. However, it’s fairly easy to go to your local supermarket and pick up some whipped cream maker bulbs, which each contain a small CO2 sized cartridge of nitrous oxide (enough for one person). They even sell these cartriges at some smoke and paraphernalia stores.
Automotive nitrous available to the public usually has ~100 ppm Sulfur dioxide added to the mixture to prevent recreational use/abuse. Inhalation of this type of a mixture is nearly impossible after one breath due to gagging and involuntary clamping off of the trachea which is caused by the sulfur dioxide. So don’t try using an automotive NOS system for this purpose (unless you can get it without sulfur dioxide), go to your local supermarket or hardware store and pick up some whipped cream making canisters.
Laughing Gas is relatively harmless if you use it in moderation and take it properly. You DO NOT want to inhale pure nitrous, you MUST BE SURE to mix a 50/50 ratio of air and nitrous. You should fill a balloon half way full of nitrous and then fill the rest with air to ensure this 50/50 ratio of air-to-nitrous. This will lower the temperature of the nitrous significantly so that it won’t freeze in your lungs or cause you to faint due to a lack of oxygen.
If you inhale too much nitrous, you can get nauseous and throw up. Apparently, smoking marijuana before inhaling nitrous can increase it’s effects. I don’t know, because I have never tried the two together, or if I did then I did the nitrous before the marijuana instead of vice versa.
Oh yeah, if you purchase the whipped cream maker bulbs then you also need a whipped cream siphon to open the cannisters. These devices are also known as “crackers”, don’t know why - maybe due to it’s popularity among white people.

I have only tried nitrous once and I had pretty much of a textbook response. Strong audio hallucinations - variously described as “echoes” and “helicopters”, considerable light-headedness, a general feeling of euphoria, cheerfulness and slowed coordination. The effects seem to last around a minute.

The college years were a really exciting time, I spent five years in college and had some of the best years of my life. In college I learned quite a few tricks for getting by and staying ahead of the game.

Getting Money for College
The majority of college students need help to pay for college. Tuition rates are going up every year and most colleges and universities are run like businesses to make a profit. Thus students are looking for ways to pay for their college education.
Student loans may be a necessity, but there are also other sources of funding that could help pay for school. There are many opportunities to be awarded funds that do not have to be repaid, as student loans do. Most people don’t realize these programs are out there and never apply for this free money.

So if the retail value of the book is $60, expect to pay anywhere from $90 to $120 for this book at the bookstore.
Buy all your text books from your local Borders Books, Barnes and Nobles, or order them online from Amazon.com for much less than the price that books cost at your college bookstore. Amazon.com also caries used books and allows you to sell your textbooks online to other college students.

Make Money from Textbook Arbitrage
Since the college book stores have such a large markup on their textbooks this leaves an opportunity for stuents to make money off their system.
Here is what to do:
When the semester starts go to your college bookstore and get the prices of all your books. Go online and buy your books with the cheapest price you can find new or used. It’s a good idea to end up with at least a $30 difference between the price of the online store and the bookstore. So if a used math textbook is $68 at the bookstore, try to buy it for $38 online.
Now that you got all your books for a cheaper price continue on with the semester until the end. You are already ahead of the game because you paid less than full price on your books.
At the end of the semester the bookstore will start buying books back from students. Most college bookstores don’t ask for receipts when buying books back from students. So go to the bookstore and see how much they’ll give you back for the book. Remember that math book you bought for $38, you might sell it back to them for $53. You earned $15 -not bad- but say if you sold them 5 books then that will be a total of $60 that you made
Let’s assume that the bookstore will only buy the math book for $33, this means you lost $5.
DO NOT sell them the book. Wait until the new semester starts and post an ad for the book.

There has gotta be someone who will buy the book from you. It’s definitely a good deal for them too!
Also look around campus through out the semester and I am sure that you will find textbooks that people lost or left behind from time-to-time. You also may be able to sell these books back at the end of the semester.
Things You Will Need in College
FAKE ID
If you are under 21 years old, it would be super beneficial to have a fake drivers license. Most college and fraternity parties allow underaged people to drink alcohol, but a fake id will allow you to go to bars, night clubs, and purchase alcohol at liquor and grocery stores.
This will also allow you to make some extra spending money through buying money for your friends and having a slight markup on the price.
Be sure to get a quality fake drivers license from a reputable site which uses proper hologram and barcode technology.
If you have anything that you want to keep safe or you don’t want to get caught having then I would suggest getting a small safe to place under your bed. Things occassionally get stolen in the dorm rooms and campus security may have the right to search your room without your consent. Therefore you want to keep your valuables and things you don’t want to get caught with in this safe.
Dorm buildings often has fire drills. These fire drills are not only to prepare students for a potential fire, but they also give campus security the opportunity to search dorm rooms during the 20 minutes that everyone is outside of the building.
I was friends with a campus security officer who was trying to determine if a particular student was firing a paintball gun out his dorm window. So they scheduled a fire drill and then searched this students room and he was caught red handed.

On many math, science, and engineering exams the professor will allow students to use calculators. Some students use traditional calculators, but I always found it beneficial to use the large screened scientific calculators because these allow you to pre-program them with formulas, terms, or anything else written that might help you with the exam. I always spent days getting info from the textbook into my calculators before my exams. I used a TI-85 calculator which was the hottest thing in that day, but I am sure that there are much more hi-tech calculators that can also be used.
RITALIN PRESCRIPTION
Ritalin is one of the most over prescribed drugs out there today. It helps you to concentrate and focus. You can get a prescription for ritalin either from your general practitioner or based on a referral written by a psychologist or psychiatrist.
This drug is not only good for late night work and cramming sessions, it can also be sold for $5 a pill and is in very high demand. However, there is some risk to selling this stuff so be careful!
There is one more advantage! Most colleges allow students with a prescription for Ritalin to take all exams untimed! Therefore you have a clear advantage over most of the other students. I did not know about this until the end of my sophomore year of college. Sometimes it helped, other times it was not necessary.
OLD EXAMS, TERM PAPERS, and ASSIGNMENTS
One of the advantages to being in a fraternity or sorority is that they save all the exams, term papers, and assignments of all the members in their library arranged by major, by course, and by professor. Often times I found that professors would reuse alot of the same assignments and exam questions and sometimes they would not change at all. This gives you another unfair advantage over everyone else.
Try to find students who have taken a particular course and see if you can get the work that they did in the course from them. After taking a course offer copies of your work to other students in exchange for favors.
There are also companies which sell term papers that can be used to help you to do a good job and cut down on the time that you would spend writing them on your own.

Make Money Promoting Local Businesses
There are tons of businesses near most colleges that want to advertise on campus and sell goods or services to the students. However most colleges won’t allow these businesses to solicit on the campus themselves and will charge them with trespassing if they do so.
Fraternities and sororities at my school made thousands of dollars each semester going to local business and offering to help them advertise their business by sliding take-out menus and flyers under all the dorm room doors on campus, put up flyers on bulletin boards, or promote their business in other ways. The college can’t do much to stop a student from promoting a local business.
There were two pizza and wing delivery restaurants, a chinese delivery restaurant, a local laundry service, and a few other businesses that wouldn’t mind paying $300-400 to pass a restaurant take-out menu or flyer under the doors of all the students on campus.
Doing this once would often boost these businesses sales between 25-40% and they would make thousands of dollars more in sales within a few days, sometimes even within a few hours. Therefore we were able to even raise the price as high as $1,000 for a couple hours of easy work. It was highly effective and profitable so the businesses didn’t mind paying these prices.
