There are 3 main classes of Fake IDs out there:
Class 1 = False Identity (ID Card or Driver’s License belonging to someone else.)
Class 2 = Altered (A real Driver’s License or ID Card that has been physically changed to represent false information such as Date of Birth.)
Class 3 = Fake (Completely manufactured as a counterfeit ID Card.)
Class 1
If you are planning on using someone else’s ID Card there is a very high probability that you will get caught. Typically this method only works with a younger sibling that looks very much like an older “of age” sibling. Many bars and night clubs will not accept expired ID Cards to prevent this type of activitiy.
In order to be effective you would need the older sibling’s Current Driver’s License, using the Original ID Card can be risky for both siblings. Therefore, it makes more sense and is safer for the younger sibling to borrow the “of age” siblings Birth Certificate and Social Security Card and go to the DMV and claim that the Original license was lost.
The younger sibling can now get a Duplicate ID with their own picture (younger sibling) and the pertinent info belonging to the older sibling. The older sibling can continue to use the Original ID card and the younger sibling can use the Duplicate ID Card (with the younger sibling’s photo) obtained from the DMV. Most DMV offices require no proof to walk in and obtain a Driver’s License other than a Birth Certificate and a Social Security Card.
Class 2
Years ago with the traditional laminated ID Cards it was possible to easily to alter the Date of Birth on a Driver’s License by “Chalking” the ID. The term “Chalking” refers to using colored pencils (Yes, that’s right, Colored Pencils!) to alter the Date of Birth on a Driver’s License.
This is not possible to do in all states, but is especially popular an easy to do with New York State Driver’s Licenses. If done correctly contrary to what you might think, a chalked ID Card can look extremely convincing to a bouncer or bartender - especially in the dark.
Some “chalked” IDs can be foiled if a bartender wets his finger and then runs it across the Date of Birth causing the colored pencil lead to smear.
With the help of technological advancements, such as holograms and textured lamination - today’s Driver’s Licenses are nearly impossible to alter except by a professional.
Class 3
One of the biggest giveaways on a well made fake Driver’s License is a bad photo. Never use a photo of a person wearing a hat as this is a dead giveaway. The DMV would never allow a person to pose for their Driver’s License photo wearing a hat.
Be sure that your photo shows your face looking directly forward with your head level and a forward aligned profile. Don’t use a picture of a person looking up, down, to the left, or to the right. Be sure that the photo is taken against a plain white background. Also be sure that there is no red eye in the picture.
Be sure to wear appropriate casual clothes. The girl in the photo above looks fine in the full profile picture, but looks naked once the photo is cropped into an ID sized image.
The print on your ID card should be high resolution, all printed information needs to be solid and clear. If the print is fuzzy, pixelated, or grainy then it will be a clear indication that the ID is fake.
Make sure that the lamination is done well. It should not peel, there should be no bumpy surfaces, and it should form a solid piece with the rest of the ID card.
Make sure that the holograms, barcodes, and magnetic strips look accurate. People often check the holograms. Scanning the barcodes or magnetic strip occur less often so even if the ID doesn’t scan accurately, it should pass most of the time as long as the magnetic strip and barcode looks realistic.
Make sure that the information on your card is accurate and realistic. The height and weight should be around your height and weight. The date of birth should also be as close to your own age as possible. Do not use ridiculous information that would attract unnecessary attention.
Additional Tips
- Always put your fake ID or Driver’s License in a different wallet separate from your real identification cards. Having your real ID and your fake ID in the wallet can spell trouble. If someone spots your real ID they will want to see that ID as well and you’ll be caught.
- Always carry additional identification or cards with your fake IDs name on them. Often times bartenders and bouncers will ask to see a second form of ID. They know that most people who have fake ID cards, do not have backup identification.
- Know the information printed on your fake ID card. Many people make the mistake of using a fake ID without knowing the information printed on the card. If a bouncer or bartender suspects that an ID is fake they might ask your birth date, middle initial, address, or zodiac sign. If you hesitate, don’t know the answer, or get it wrong it will be a major indication that the ID you are using is fake.

Jeesh…this is scary. I had my wallet stolen and it had my everything in it. The detective said they usually are only interested in what they cannot counterfeit these days being credit cards and whatever cash you may have had. To think people can just search online and find even a phony drivers license is seriously a bad thing for this world.
i doubt that your driver’s license will have any use to the thief, unless they want to steal your identity with the intention of accessing your bank account or opening up a new line of credit. which they could do with your drivers license if they find someone that looks like you.

Honestly, there are no legit fake ID sites on the internet. Trust me I have tried them all.
Your best bet is to either find someone that can make you a fake id or to make your own. It’s not too difficult.
If you need some fake id templates, I would be happy to send you some.

the best bet will be for you to go to your nearest major city and get one there. try the local smoke shops which sell drug paraphalia, ask around, you will most likely find a smoke shop which makes fake ids.
i found quality fake ids at smoke shops in new york city, boston, ft. lauderdale, new orleans, la, and san fran.
this way you can see exactly what you are getting before you put any money down.
i have gone the website route and they either keep the money and you get nothing or send you a worthless piece of crap fake id that wouldn’t pass anywhere.

it was a ghetto smoke shop in the sistrunk area of ft. lauderdale near broward blvd and sunrise blvd. i don’t remember the name. they make “novalty” fake ids and driver’s licenses in the back room with holograms.
you might also want to try the peace pipe located on 4800 north dixie highway in ft. lauderdale. i think i remember seeing a few fake driver’s licenses displayed in their glass case next to the bongs, pipes, and drug paraphanalia.

yes, jessie!!! the fake ids in san francisco were made at a smokeshop in the tenderloin district.
go down vanness until you reach either geary or o’farrel (don’t remember which, but they are parallel next to each other) take a left and then take your next left onto larkin street. go to the opposite side of the street further away from vanness and you will see two smoke shops on larkin. go into the first shop which sells drug gear, knives, and other stuff and they will make you a fake id. they have a glass case with a small sign that says fake ids.
the quality is B- definitely, but it’s better than nothing. they do have holograms.

there are a few smoke shops in greenwich village that sell fake ids… i believe they are all along 8th avenue, maybe 6th avenue. it’s been a few years so it’s kind of hazy. i remember a very famous landmark italian deli called balducci’s which recently closed down nearby. There is an entire row of smoke shops ie: Village Smoke Shop, Classic Smoke Shop, etc… My sister just got a fake id from one of these shops, it was a Maryland Driver’s License, complete with holograms and scanable bar codes for $80… it was A quality, but she did say that they had lower quality ids for $50. I will need to ask her exactly where she got it.
hey sam… i just called her and she told me that she bought that Maryland Driver’s License at a smoke shop on 6th Avenue in Greenwich village… there are like 10 smoke shops in the area. This ID costs $80 as opposed to the more common $50 one, but it is well worth the extra money.

crap o’la… i can’t remember exactly where this smokeshop was in new orleans. it was in the french quarter, but not on bourbon street.
it was more towards decatur… i believe it was near royal street… on a road that crosses bourbon and royal. there were lots of sex and bondage shops in this area. the french market end of the quarter… on a street that runs across, but not parallel to bourbon… it was away from the bars and near a few sex and paraphanlia shops.

don’t go to china town. you won’t find a fake id there. you need to go to greenwich village.
The answer is simple. Try to find someone that looks like you.
Either purchase their drivers license from them by offering them $50 and the money to cover the cost of getting a replacement drivers license.
Or take things even further and go to the DMV with their credentials and say that you lost your drivers license and get a license with your picture and their info. This may be a bit more risky because the DMV may keep a copy of their photo on file now that computer imaging is more prevalent.
I have a killer connection for Fake IDs, they charge like $150 per ID but they look perfect and have holograms, barcodes and magnetic strips that scan too. They only have drivers licenses from 3 states: New Jersey, Texas, and Oregon.

How can i alter the date-of-birth on my uk drivers licence?
it’s called chalking a driver’s license. it’s very tricky and can be difficult to do correctly, but if done properly you cannot tell that the date of birth has been altered.
basically you need to alter the date of birth with colored pencils.
i would say that you need to get three colors of colored pencils: red, white, and black. sharpen all the pencils to a very nice point.
the white pencil needs to be applied to the last digit or two of the date of birth year to blend most of the red numbers with the background color.
the red pencil is used to rewrite new numbers over the white.
the black pencil is used to change the code number in the lower-right hand corner of the ID. this number starts out with the birthdate year, ex: 92******. this number also must be chalked in the same way, using the white pencil to cover up parts of the number and the black pencil to recreate a new number.
easy chalking:
turn an 8 into a 3 or 0.
turn a 3 into a 0.
moderate chalking:
turn an 8 into a 6.
turn an 8 into a 5.
difficult chalking:
turn an 8 into a 1.

Yes! I went to Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando with my Maryland fake id and it worked just fine. They actually seem to check less in Florida than they do in other states.

Try going to either Washington DC or New York City and check out all the smoke/drug gear stores, some of them make fake ids in the backroom. My brother actually bought a fake Maryland Driver’s License in New York City (greenwich village) and we live in New Jersey. I would get a state other than you own like he did so it would be harder for them to tell if it is fake. So look for another state id other than maryland, if you live there.

He paid $80 for a really good fake id. They have other fake ids for $60 and $50, but those are not nearly as realistic.
You wanna pay extra for the high-end holograms, magnetic strips, etc… rather than saving some money.
