The Matthew Toste murder trial started today for Paul Whiterock and Joseph Lopez Jr. The group was harassing Toste’s cousin and Lopez Sr. tried to grab her and was pushed away by Toste. Lopez Sr. tried to punch Toste and missed, Toste landed a solid punch and knocked him out. Lopez Jr. walked over to Whiterock and drew a gun off Whiterock’s holster and shot Toste.

That was the story as told by Matthew Toste’s date that night, Kelly Griffin.
