I wouldn't take a nap right after eating even if you had worked out that morning. Most of the fat burning that occurs due to working out happens during the hour after working out and not during the actual workout itself. Therefore you don't want to boost your metabolism and then go to sleep, you want to keep it high after yo workout. Save the napping for at night when you should sleep 8-10 hours.

The advantage of working out in the morning is that it will keep your metabolism high all day. People that workout at night boost their metabolism and then go to sleep within a few hours this practice is far less effective than working out in the morning.

I like your post on 10 ways to get fat. I still cannot believe that people skip meals, especially breakfast when dieting. That doesn't make sense to me at all. I was wondering though, about tip #1, if it is OK after a workout and then a meal. I have been lifting in the morning, doing cardio, eating breakfast, and then taking a nap before classes start for the day. On one hand, I'm thinking it's a good way to give my body a good start on muscle repair and building, but then again I could be killing my metabolism by doing it. I'll have to check it out. Anyways, I like the site!
